Economic & Fiscal Impact
UCE has completed many assignments for public and private clients on the economic and fiscal impact of development projects. Services have ranged from very simple, “back of the envelope” calculations to assist in the framing of negotiations or planning to extensive modeling of fiscal impacts for specific and general plans. Similarly, UCE’s evaluation of economic impacts has ranged from calculating the generation of jobs from descriptions of proposed projects to extensive modeling of direct and indirect impacts using commercially available modeling packages.
UCE also provides demographic and economic studies in connection with specific plans, general plans, master plans, and other efforts. UCE staff has completed dozens of such assignments around the globe.
Pro Forma Analysis
In addition to advisory work, UCE staff has provided peer review and auditing of pro forma models in connection with public-private and private real estate negotiations for a wide range of projects, from small subdivisions to base reuse projects. UCE have also conducted pro forma modeling, building customized models from scratch to evaluate the financial feasibility of a proposed project or provide a parallel analysis to independently verify results.,
